Architecture 53 -Intro to Architecture and Environmental Design

Course Objectives:
An introduction to the design process through application of problem solving methodologies to abstract and real world design projects. The class will explore visual phenomenon in a basic way, and operate within the language of design.

Architecture 46 - History of Architecture I

Course Objectives:
This course includes a study of modern architecture from the 19th century to the present day. The root of architectural theory is derived from the history of the art. As such, a thorough understanding of history is the cornerstone to understanding and working with architectural theory.
