We will explore:
1. How to use different materials to convey the design intent of a project.
2. How to use different adhesives, paints, tools and techniques to build a model.
3. How to how to create the different types of models: conceptual, massing, structural and presentation.
4. We will identify a series of spatial precedents and learn to build a sketch/massing model to express design intent. 
5. We will use the massing model to develop a working presentation scale model and consider issues such as tectonic assembly, abstraction, representation and appropriate scale.
