Astronomy at the West Valley College 21st Annual Powwow

Native Americans have rich mythologies to explain the comings and goings of the Sun, Moon and stars. Join the WVC Astronomy Program for a 35 minute presentation in the campus Planetarium, located in room SM37, at either 2, 3, or 4 p.m. as we look at the stars and recount native American myths of the heavens. Presentations may draw upon myths from the Yurok, Karok, Kiowa Apache, and other tribes. Seating is limited.
