About Me

Things I Like To Do:

1. travel
My husband, Steve, and I have been to Hong Kong, Munich, Vienna, Salzburg, Nice, Paris, Venice, Florence, Interlaken, Geneva, Kona, Hilo, Lahaina, Honolulu, and Lihue; various cities while on an Alaskan cruise; San Juan, Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas while on a Caribbean cruise; and of course, the California Coast from San Jose to San Diego.
2. read (big surprise!)
David Sedaris makes me laugh; Toni Morrison and James Baldwin inspire me; The New Yorker educates me (although I can’t seem to keep up with my subscription).
3. enjoy great meals and drinks with my friends
Some of our favorite places are Aziza (just went there in January - yummy Moroccan food!), Viaggio, E & O Trading Company, Fiesta Del Mar, and Dona Tomas.
4. listen to music
Some recent concerts we’ve gone to include Panic! At the Disco, Good Charlotte, The Killers, and Green Day. The ipod has a variety of music (jazz, classical, Hawaiian slack key guitar, pop, 70’s-80’s classic rock/new wave/alternative/punk) but no country for this girl.
5. watch soccer
Steve coaches the North Valley Tornados, a class 1 U-15 girls soccer team, so we spend many fun hours on weekends at games.
