BACKGROUND
- B.A. Physical Education,
San Jose State University
- M.A. Physical Education,
San Jose State University
- I was born in Chicago,
Illinois and moved to California when I was 9 years old where I grew
up and received my education.
- I taught in San Jose at
Lincoln High School.
- After teaching at Lincoln
High School for three years, I traveled to Europe, met my husband
in Austria (he's Austrian) and lived in St. Anton/am Arlberg, Austria
for 4 years. My two daughters were born in Innsbruck, Austria. We
then returned to the United States and a son was born in San Jose,
California. I now have six grandchildren.
- Upon returning to this
country, I taught at San Jose State University and then at West Valley
College berginning in 1964.
- I retired as a full time
instructor at West Valley after 41 years and now teach as an Associate
Faculty member.

OTHER
INTERESTS
- I travel a great deal
including trekking in Nepal, a trip around the world at which time
I had the opportunity to visit many countries, a trip to South America
visiting Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, and Chili and a great deal of travel
in America and Europe.
- I lead a very active lifestyle
and take part in many fitness activities.
- In addition, I ski (both
Alpine and Cross Country) hike and play tennis.
- I read a lot, enjoy the
opera and theatre, and enjoy life to its fullest.
