Before
each laboratory section you should access the corresponding pre-lab. The
pre-lab is a work sheet that will prepare you for the content as well as
the
experiment/s in your upcoming
lab. Each pre-lab is worth 3 points and is designed to help you to get
an overview of the material at the same time as it will facilitate your
ability to complete the lab. It is very important the you have a good understanding
of the procedures that will be used in the lab. By reading through the
assigned upcoming lab you should be able to answer most of the questions
of the pre-lab. Your textbook may also be used as a resource to answer
pre-lab questions. All the pre-labs of the semester are accessible on this
page. You simply need to download each pre-lab and respond to the questions.
The post-lab worksheet is
designed to review importnat concepts that you learned in lab. Quiz
questions may come directly form pre-lab and post-lab questions.
Each
lab begins with a laboratory quiz. Make sure to be there when the lab begins
to be able to participate in the quiz. There will be no make-up quizzes
in the lab. Since more than 50% of your points in the lab come
from your quiz scores it is very important that you complete the pre-lab
and post-lab exercises.
