PRE-LABS - Biology 10 Spring 2020 - PRE-LABS
Before each laboratory section you can access the corresponding pre-lab. The pre-lab is a work sheet that will prepare you for the content as well as the experiment/s in your upcoming lab. Each pre-lab is worth 3 points and designed to help you get an overview of the material at the same time as it will facilitate your ability to complete the lab. It is very important the you have a good understanding of the procedures that will be used in the lab. By reading through the assigned upcoming lab you should be able to answer most of the questions of the pre-lab. Your textbook Dec also be used as a resource to answer pre-lab questions. All the pre-labs of the semester are accessible on this page. You simply need to download each pre-lab, read the lab, and respond to the questions. Each lab begins with a laboratory quiz. Make sure to be there when the lab begins to be able to participate in the quiz. There will be no make-up quizzes in the lab. Some of the questions on the quiz may be questions directly related to your pre-lab. Since more than 50% of your points in the lab come from your quiz scores it is very important that you complete the pre-lab exercise before your lab. The pre-labs will be in PDF format and can be opened using Adobe Reader (see below). You will need to download each pre-lab and respond to the questions. |
