Before coming to West Valley, I taught full-time at Pasadena City College and I have also taught part-time at Santa Clara University, Santa Monica College, UCLA and New York University.

I am currently Board Secretary of the Santa Clara Valley Mathematics Association and a member of the California Mathematics Council of Community Colleges (CMC3) as well as the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC).

I completed an educational research project in 2002 concerning math in the high-tech workplace, sponsored by IISME (Industry Initiatives in Science and Math Education). If you are interested in seeing the results, view my PowerPoint presentation here.
