- Individual goal
setting
- Safety awareness and
procedures
- Principles of water conditioning
- Location of water sports
events in the local area
Instructional Methods:
- Demonstration, skill
practice & critique of skills
Grading:
Credit
- 70% full participation
- 10% completion of goals
- 20% final
Letter Grade
- All credit requirements
plus a written assignment.
- Example: Locate and attend
one local water event for the physically limited in your area of interest.
Write an evaluation of the event in terms of organization, who attended, could
you have participated, what are your strengths and weaknesses at the present
if you had entered this event and what is your plan of attack to successfully
enter in this event next year.
