Course Description: This course provides laboratory and field experience to introduce the field of historical geology. It includes descriptions of sedimentary rocks, fossils, and geologic maps directed to provide evidence for the theories of the evolution of Earth. Finally, we will participate in at least one weekend field trip (extra Credit) and one in-lab field trip.
